I experienced multiple issues during my stay. The room I initially booked was switched to a double bed instead of a twin, and although the receptionist offered to rectify it, I was too exhausted to wait. Additionally, housekeeping only emptied the bins when I had requested a full clean and did not fulfill that request. Finally, the parking situation was quite frustrating, with a code that never worked, forcing me to call reception repeatedly for access.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Mercure Metz Centre. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, which made my time very comfortable. The breakfast offered a delightful selection, including loose teas and fresh juices, enhancing my mornings.

The room temperature was a bit uncomfortable, but the fresh and tasty breakfast made up for it! I recommend using public parking, especially if you encounter the one-way streets. The proximity to the train station and old town showcases the best of Metz.
